The hotel was very responsive with questions I had on whatsapp. Our room did smell of water damage but other than that it was a great stay and we absolutely loved the basket full of goodies that was delivered at our door in the morning for breakfast!

Casa do Contador had character, beauty, AND comfort. The breakfast especially was a fantastic experience, delivered to our room each day in a traditional wicker basket. We've never experienced anything like it! The staff were friendly and helpful, and recommended a really great tour to the east of San Miguel Island. The bed was comfortable, the kitchenette had everything we needed ... No notes! We'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
