We stayed in a three bedroom chalet that was very well appointed, clean, comfortable and homey. Management staff were very help with local dining and activity tips and suggestions. They even offer loaner mini-shovels for hot water beach excavations! When returning to the chalet in the late afternoon the interior was very hot as is probably expected summer without any a/c. However without any screens on the windows or sliding doors it was difficult to air without inviting bugs into the home. Our solution was to just return home later in the evening.

I should have noticed before booking, but be advised it does not have Air Conditioning. They leave windows open which does help significantly, however by dark there were about 30 bugs in the bathroom from leaving that window open.

A wonderful place to unwind. Fully equipped room in a beautifully landscaped gardens. Close to the ferry landing for visits to whitianga. Across the road is a lovely walk thru the bush to Lonely Bay. Highly recommend this accommodation.

Top Notch Fab get Away

Came here on a whim, want to stay forever. These units are so well appointed, spotless, current, just top notch. We run 2 vacation rentals in Santa Barbara and all I can say there isn't one thing I need. spot on amazing. I want to come back next year for a month!
