Great little spot

Newly renovated, owner is very nice. Rooms are clean and welcoming. Pool isn’t large but its all you need, I would absolutely recommend this place.

This was a very convenient location within walking distance of many restaurants and attractions in la fortuna. The waterfall and volcano are only a short drive away. The owner is kind and a good communicator.

Great location in a comfortable apartment

Great little apartment in a gated area located in a residential area just a few minutes' walk from the Main Street with a wide choice of restaurants and shops so very convenient. Communication with host was excellent and check-in was smooth. Bed was comfortable and the bedding/towels were of high quality. Strongly recommend as a good base for exploring the area.

What a great place to stay. Apartment was newly renovated and clean and comfortable. Easy walk to downtown. Nice having gated parking. Host was great and very accesable as he didn't live too far away. Nice pool for a cool off dip.

Hands down, you can't beat the location. It's located in a traditional neighborhood just one block off the main strip. Its very safe and an easy walk to everything. The apartments are very modern and clean, and César was very quick to respond when we had questions about activities, transportation, etc.

Great apartment in a great location. Communication from management was great. Good directions as the place could be hard to find. The apartment is clean, but it is Costa Rica so do not leave food out on the counters as the ants are pretty bad.

The apartment was perfect, very clean, very spacious the price was excellent and the owner/staff were great. Only complaint the neighbours dog is a but if a barker and the nightclub is loud but we drowned out most with the fan.

It's a new property built by the owner during covid. Nice apartment and kitchen, common room a little small. Building still under construction for new suites being built. Owner very helpful. Nice location, off main road so quiet, but near the centre of La Fortuna.

Perfect Apartment-Style Hideout!

We had a wonderful stay at Apartamentos La Casona. Everything worked perfectly and you can tell it is loved and cared for. The pool is adorable and the perfect temperature. The communication with the owner is stellar! We had many changes to our itinerary because of flight issues and he was extremely accommodating and kind. The best part is there is parking and it's walking distance to downtown. We plan on returning to La Fortuna and will definitely stay here again!

This apartment is relatively new, well-appointed with cookware Etc. The apartment was clean and the manager communicated very well, and very quickly. Anything that we needed was provided. We can recommend this place to other travelers. The manager also made helpful recommendations for Hot Springs.

Would give 5 stars if the kitchen had a microwave and the living room had air conditioning. Also, the bed was comfortable, but the pillows were awful. Otherwise, this was a very clean, spacious, economical, and convenient home base for exploring the attractions around La Fortuna. The owner was responsive and helpful in accommodating an early check-in.

Everything was great. The only complaint is that due to the proximity to the main road where the bars and restaurants are located, it was a bit noisy at night. But the tradeoff there was that it was very easy to walk around the neighborhood. The property manager was great as well. Was very responsive to texts (thru WhatsApp), and even helped me locate an item at a store that I needed that I wasn't able to find on my own thru internet searches.

THIS PLACE IS IMMACULATE

We were there for 3 nights and we really liked this place, the place was IMMACULATE, very modern and new and it was nice to have a full kitchen, and coffee included. The location is safe and walkable to everything. The bed was super comfortable too. Pool we didn't use much but they have chairs etc set up so that you can. Only 2 minor things i would say is that you can't put toilet paper down the toilet so it has to go in a bin, which is not ideal on a romantic trip but not a deal breaker, and better than the toilet backing up. Bedroom windows could use curtains to black out the room but i am a very PICKY sleeper so likely wouldn't both anyone else. Overall i would highly recommend this place!!
