Very helpful and friendly owner. But there’s had been a fire in the owners part of the building, our luxury one bedroom apartment was far from luxury, candle wick bedspread, kitchen was however well appointed, over all the motel is very run down, gardens were over grown and unkept.

Check in staff and housekeeping were extremely nice. The hotel seems to have made some great updates (nice furniture and new carpeting). We appreciated access to a washer and dryer. It would be great to see you continue your updates by replacing the drapes in the room and updates to the laundry facility.

No staff to be seen, keys left in an envelope outside the door. Was abit strange since its on a busy road. Apart from that its a good enough stop in to CC close to everything you need and want to see. And highly affordable, would return here for a quick stop over.

Highly recommended stay in Christchurch

The room was very spacious and clean. The parking was right in front of the unit so that taking in and out luggage was super convenient. It is also very close to the downtown making it easy to explore Chirstchurch.

Hidden gem

Yuki was very attentive, friendly, knowledgeable. The house keeper was great, polite, friendly. The property is very close to grocery store, petro station, lots of restaurants close by, bus stops etc. very convenient. We would love to stay there again.

Apart from the airport hotel, this was the first of the hotels we booked in New Zealand and it set the bar. The room was huge with a kitchen, dining table, enormous tv with netflix and disney and a jacussi bath. We were welcomed with a box of chocolates by a very nice young lady. We stayed over Christmas and the motel was about a 20 mins walk from the centre of Christchurch
