Loved everything about this stay!! Miscommunication and personal issues on my part was no issue with the manager. She trusted us outside the regular protocol from check in to check out. Very patient and understanding of my situation. The best part for us this time was the accesbility of this particular cabin as my mother has mobility issues and it was totally accessible. So appreciative of that. First impression is 100 percent awesome! Will recommdend to family and friends. Contemplating a family trip with my children and grandchildren. Thank you for your amazing hospitality Appalachian Chalet!

We stayed to do some nordic skiing at the Blow me Down Trails. It was a great location - about a 3 or 4 minute drive to the trails and only a 5 min drive to downtown. Chalets are well equipped, new, and very comfortable. We would stay again.
