Hotel was clean. Beds were comfortable. Front desk staff were very nice. Bar staff seemed annoyed that we asked for a drink. He was dismissive when I asked him a few questions about the area. So we left after our one drink. Continental breakfast had no coffee brewed or muffins ready. Waited about 20 minutes before someone came out with coffee. Only stayed one night. Price was right and it was very quiet which we liked. You get what you pay for here.
It was okay. The rooms were outdated. The heat could not be adjusted in my room so it was hard to sleep.

There is nothing paricularly good or bad about this place. it's a good value for Lowell. The rooms were a bit old, things seemed a bit dated in places. The location is great, right near downtown/ the canals.
Loved staying here! The location was perfect to anything in downtown. We were able to walk to all of our destinations. The front desk staff was so friendly, organized and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in lowell

I liked the fact that the hotrl was central anf the food at the bar was tasty. The room was clean, but the breakfast was a little disappointing. It was very basic.
Very comfortable beds and pillows. Very nice lobby area. Housekeeping knocked on door to clean room even though do not disturb was on the doorknob. Sink faucet was broken. Manager was very nice and seemed concerned. I would be happy to stay here again. I wish they had rooms available for the public for the Lowell International Folk Festival.
very nice, clean and good staff . The location was awesome close to a lot of things

Not my fav
It was so-so. We asked to change room because there was a few bugs splattered on the walls but not yet cleaned up. Plus a few live spiders were on the walls. They did accomodate us with another room. That room was bug free but the toilet seat so yellowed of urine we did not wanna seat on it nor take a bath. Plus....we missed the breakfast since they did not mention to is that they stop serving it at 9h30am. Carpet do not seem to be steamed clean very often and the beds are so-so comfortable. The rental rate was very good so I guess I should not expect too much for that price.
This was the worst hotel I’ve every stayed at. Our room was dirty and had a mouse in it. When I called the front desk I didn’t get an apology I got asked if I wanted maintenance to come or if I wanted a different room. No shock no worry at all. They gave me a new room that had mouse droppings under the bed. Thank goodness for Expedia who refunded my money and I found a better hotel elsewhere.

We stayed in the section that is student housing during the school year. Then they switch out the furniture and turn it into a hotel room. Beds were comfortable and clean. Clean towels were supplied every day. Shampoo, conditioner, lotion and soap were provided. No hairdryer. Breakfast was only a cold one however it included orange juice, fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels, netragrain bars and small pastries. There is coffee, tea and cold lemon water 24 hours a day
There was clear tap over a plug and the room needed to be updated. The more frustrating part was that I had requested a walk in shower handicap accessible room for my grandmother. When I got there they had had her in a standard room . The girl at the desk was rude and was unwilling to switch the room for servers minutes before I told her we would file a complaint. She then put her in a handicap accessible room but it didn’t have the walk-in shower so we had to switch to A third room. This was s problem because she can’t lift her feet which I told her at the desk. This was really hard for her as it meant lots of steps and multiple returns to the front desk. When she got to the room finally it was very nice and had a good view. The manager at the bar was amazing, helping my kids find food they could eat and made a dessert for them even though it was served that day.
We enjoyed our one night stay. We ate in bar. Food was good. Room was fine for a one night stay. Really need to think about putting a hair dryer. Mini refrigerator and small microwave in every room, regardless of length of stay. If cant accommodate those items in each room, then don't advertise as such. Say right out you don't have them.
Would stay again.
I was happy with the comfort and cleanliness of our room.
It was just an overnight stay.
The continental breakfast was good, and was not missing any expected items. Also I did notice that items were replenished as needed.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Stayed here 3years ago + it was much better. This time the bathrooms had black mold under the sink rim + in the shower. No answer at front desk. Adjoining room people were very loud fighting + slamming doors till 2am. Did not feel safe! Had to change room for night 2. Ice machine very loud + leaking water;slippery floor! No water for coffee pot in room? Breakfast was granola bars, rotten fruit, very strong undrinkable coffee. Smoking 10 feet from entrance Nasty! Very disapointed! Would never have stayed here if I knew it was so bad! Waste of my money!
At check in, we had to hunt for the desk clerk. He was very courteous, once found, and did a good job as the bartender. The room was in poor condition, with sticking closet doors, missing hair dryer, mildew on the shower curtain and dents in the wall. Continental breakfast was disappointing, without many choices. A few hard cooked eggs would be easy and not very costly.
