Great place in Angel

Very comfortable, charming and convenient place to stay in Angel. Clever use of space, lovely art deco interior, high ceilings and good facilities for self catering. Pleasant living room with capacity for entertaining a couple of dinner guests. Exclusive use of second bathroom and laundry close by. We loved staying here.

Lamp next to the bed had an EU plug and was missing a lightbulb so couldnt be used. The front patio was not clean, had some garbage laying around. No handsoap in the bathroom by the sink.

It was very good. The only challenge was its proximity to a main road. There's lots of traffic on the road and the air quality isn't great as a result

The door knob on the entree door to the flat is very, very, hard to turn from the hallway. It does not turn at all inside the flat. The green, metal, storage cabinet in the bedroom is huge. It is very difficult to get pass it and the foot of the bed. The soap dispensers initially did not work. The push down heads were stuck down. I had to take them apart and work on them to get them to operate. The ironing board has a metal hook on the end is not smooth. We worried several times if it was going to pull a thread on a shirt while we were ironing.

This tastefully renovated London flat is just moments from Angel station, several bus stops, and many trendy cafes and restaurants - making it the perfect city fringe base for a longer stay in London. It comes equipped with everything you'd need - fully stocked kitchen (inc some basic cooking condiments), washer/dryer, nice lounge area, modern bathroom and fast wifi. Just bring your toothbrush! The only downsides to the property were the several narrow staircases (it's on the top floor) which may be difficult to navigate with heavy suitcases or mobility issues. The warmth in summer can also be a challenge although the flat has several fans, including one with an exhaust pipe for hot air. I plan to stay again on future trips in London.
