When I arrived, a BLM mask wearing desk receptionist was having a difficult time checking in a prepaid Expedia customer.
Pros: Bed was comfortable. Parking and location are decent.
Cons:
Fairly dated hotel
The one time use remote had buttons which were worn off and half of them didn't work.
With the in-person/phone drama I witnessed at arrival, I will be more inclined to stay somewhere else next visit
NO road noise! Quiet. Such a relief. We got there late (10 pm) so we didn’t use the sauna or anything. Just had a comfy, quiet room with the most upbeat and delightful Julian to check us in. Now, if only other guests realize and remember they’re not the only people in existence and didn’t let their doors slam....even better. But, not the hotel’s fault!

The pool and spa was closed. Staff was rude. Checkout was at noon. Front desk clerk called into our room to remind us that check out was at noon, then at 12:09 they knocked on our door to make sure we were leaving. We had our coats on and our car was started.

They put us in a different room then we booked, i questioned them about itv at check in and they said it was fine. 5:30 am the next morning they pounded on our door and asked us to wake up our 3 kids and move to a different room because they now needed this one.
It was a clean room. Comfortable bed. We like it because it is dog friendly, and that's what we need. If we have a room on the 1st floor, it is very convenient with an outside door. Good location.
Happy the pool was open. Room was nice. Staff very accommodating.

Staff was friendly, we liked the Sunrise Breakfast bags (nice touch during COVID). The hot tub did not heat - and based on other guests - it has not worked for a while. That was disappointing.
There was a pop in the fridge. Pop was dried on the bedside table. There was a very loud vent fan in the bathroom. It would make this sound when I didn’t even have the light w/fan on. I shut the door to block sound. Needs a good vacuuming around the carpeted walls. Bed was super lumpy soft. Great for a kid not a 50 yr old. Good dusting other than the obvious services. Ie: lamps
I won’t stay again.
Everything was great except the breakfast. I don’t see the need to limit breakfast items to barely anything at all. Just because there’s this COVID thing which doesn’t even come close to numbers of flu deaths, people still need to eat. Room rate should be discounted to include downgraded breakfast.
The renovations looked great! They had no problem with us using Hotels.com. Room was very clean! The grab on go breakfast was what was expected with the current COVID-19 issues. Pool was clean and usable! All in all a very pleasant say! Would stay there again!
