We spent two nights in this cozy cottage in central Dufftown, and we could not have found a better place to stay! The space was comfortable and well-designed, and we especially enjoyed the garden area for our dog to run. Check-in was seamless, and our host communicated everything to us clearly. We would happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for peaceful lodgings in the Speyside area!

The cottage has everything you need and is in a great area. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend. It is so clean, modern, comfortable and such a good base for the Highlands. It was a very home from home feel. The property has a Chinese and Indian restaurant opposite too but the kitchen is perfectly set up for cooking too with everything you need. Great communication from owners. On Hotels.com the property is advertised as having a shared kitchen which is incorrect, it’s private. Parking outside the property too and a big closed garden space on the back for dogs.

Manager was very friendly and accommodating. All our needs were met. Located next to a couple of good restaurants and easy to get to various Whiskey Distilleries.

This was a very nice and clean property. Communication with the owner was easy and they were very responsive. The area is nice and quiet, with a few restaurants and distilleries, all within walking distance. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and could see ourselves using this location the next time we decide to visit.

Must remember, Dufftown is a small town with limited options. A wonderful “rustic farm stay with modern amenities” would be my description. Walkable to local restaurants and grocery stores. Can hit all distilleries within 10-20 minutes max.

Dufftown delight

Amazing little place to stay with all the comforts of home. The garden area is peaceful and has ample seating plus a barbeque area. The apartment was spotless and bed super comfortable. We had a lovely three night stay and wished it was longer. It is also a good base for travelling around the area.

I wish I could stay here more often!

What an amazing location to stay in the Speyside area and in Dufftown. My expectations were well exceeded by the fit out and finish of the property, the size and space and practical appointments for this accommodation. A modern bathroom complimented the more traditional cottage feel and there was also a washing machine that was very timely at this stage of my holiday. Two bottles of whisky with an honour system touched off the whole experience for a couple of nips late in the evening. The rooms were immaculately clean, the location superb and would love to stay here again next time I visit. The hosts communicated early and clearly and made sure everything was clear for the whole process start to finish.

Place was very clean. Pre visit information exhausting and unnecessary. Ironic as communication with issue poor once at property. Trip hazard with kitchen floor. Advised but nothing done....not even taped. Text sent the next morning. Broken mirror in bathroom and bulbs out in various places. Strange odour from sofa. Photo misleading,you are tucked away behind a set of flats and a row of bins. Stayed in Dufftown on numerous occasions....this one wasnt for us.

Nice accommodation

Good base for exploring the area. Nice accommodation, clean and with a nice fully enclosed garden for our dogs. Excellent meal at the Copper Dog at Craigellachie, a few minutes drive away (pet friendly) Although a Whiskey Distillery area, try Glenrinnes Distillery if like me, you prefer Gin or Vodka ;-) Grantown East railway stop off great for braekfast/snack/lunch etc and pet friendly too.
