The park is always nice to visit. What my challenge was at my check-in. Plus my return visit in two months from now is me booking cottage space and being confirmed for it with the photos and in print and upon checking in being given the cabin (older units) that I did not reserve.there is a misrepresentation, glitch, or miscommunications between Expedia and thousand trails. That was not fair to me as the consumer. After going back and forth with the front desk I was awarded the cottage, but I don’t have a resolution yet for my June 21st check in on two cottages I booked. This changes the experience.

Nice place to stay
The check in was little difficult. The campground assigned wrong type of stay then booked and almost didn’t fix it. But finally did and after that everything went smooth

Don’t count on getting a good night sleep
Bunk beds were very uncomfortable, old and everytime you move it made loud noises and the pull out sofa bed was horrible, not safe, springs to hold the top pad/mattress were missing. It was hard getting to my actual cabin, area very bug and NO signs guiding you to exit.

The cabin was clean, but the heater in it didn't work very well. We were there several nights and the heater would turn off in the middle of the night and we'd wake up to cold air coming from the fan, plus it was very loud. The bunk beds were OK, not enough blankets, tho, good thing we brought our own. Liked the area, tho, and overall not a bad deal for what the cabin provided.
the place location was great to stay and enjoy nature.
shower stall was a bit crowded and the shower nozzle did not had means to stop flow of water while taking a shower unless turned off completely and then be blasted with cold water when turned back on. Also the HVAC unit was really loud.
Place was cold, heater didn't work, fridge would make a noise and water would heat up. Had to get a portable heater to stay warm at night... wouldn't rent st this place again..

Magic mountain
We had a cabin with non working ac and ants, had to upgrade then was happy... Hot tub at adult pool was closed 😢 although it didn't start great.. the stag was accommodating and friendly.. Great for family stay...
My first thought was ahhhh the comforts of home in a country atmosphere- yes! But the cabin had a huge bag of trash in front of it with ravens having scattered the debris as well as the wind. I picked it up well into the evening of my first night. I was invited to a game of water volleyball and loved the great time- the water in the pool was cloudy. The same evening when I returned for evening volleyball the pool was closed. My cabin had trash under the bed which wasn't immediately visible. When I sopped up the floor after a shower the cloth was black which leave me to believe the floors needed a good mopping. I removed the front window screen and washed the window as it was near impossible to see out. The staff is friendly. The grounds are beautiful. I went to an evening jam session and nothing was happening. The evens seem to be fairly non existent.I am returning for a three day large even this fall- will not be a guest over night and really hope the folks arriving will meet with better cleaner rooms and grounds. The cost is far too high for the facility and it's obvious lack of caring and cleanliness. so many possibilities lie here for many better venues. I would love to see it whipped into shape!
My family and i had never been camping and were not sure what to expect but we were surprisingly very very happy with the experience. Our cabin was a bit smaller then we expected but we were still happy with it. we peeked into a vacant cottage and decided to rent the cottage on our next visit. we will definitely be returning.
I booked this place for a Six Flags Magic Mountain Getaway with my wife. The campground is pretty far out the city, but it has many different activities for families. We loved the family swimming pool. I decided to book this place because the cabin pictures looked very nice. However, the cabin that was given to us were not the pictured ones. We got an older cabin. It was nice to have a Kitchen, with a stove, microwave and a refrigerator. We were able to cook our own meals. The Air conditioner was great, extremely cold. There is no telephone, so you would need a great cell phone provider, like Verizon. However, the bedroom was very small and the bed was very uncomfortable and did not have enough space for my wife and I. I had to sleep in the couch. We did not get very good sleep for the 2 nights that we stayed there. We did see the cabins that were pictured, it would of been nice to have one of those instead of the one that was given to us. Our T.V was an older small T.V. and was very high up the wall, so it was uncomfortable watching T.V. Overall, we had a nice stay. If we stay here again, I will ask for a newer cabin.
