Park hotel tops our stay.

Great spot right in the heart of town. Walking distance to train station, buses at the door and plenty to do close by. No parking at hotel but car parks close. Hard to find small entrance off The Terrace but great service once there. Very secure and all you could want in a hotel room.

Good Value on Lambton Quay

Great location and good price for 4 day stay. Shame the Sterling restaurant has closed. Did have a kitchen with stove top and microwave but needs to be better equipped with cutlery/utensils. No forks and one wine glass. Good value and very central.

I stayed for one night. Although it didn't look like the pictures on the website, the room was comfortable and clean and had everything I needed. I only spoke with one staff member and she was friendly and very obliging. I would definitely stay here again.

Front desk is courteous. Room is decent eventhough it was pricey. Room should have a sofa ( bed for extra guest) instead they have given two single sofa. I have book for a 6 nights stay however i need to cut it short for 4 nights due to an emergency. They promised to check with the manager for a refund but ended up waiting for their call that it wasnt gonna happen. I did ring the front desk and just told me it not refundable and kinda mad that i did follow up the refund. Not recommended to stay in this property in the future.

Not great...

Not great being told told that room was not ready to come back in an hour. Retur ed after 2 hours the room still was not ready and to wait for a phone call when it would be. Recieved text message at 8pm that evening to say the room was ready.

Disappointing

While the hotel is extremely central, the Lambton Quay access into the hotel wasn't working. The person on the desk had to come down several flights to let us in as we explained we couldn't easily walk up to the Terrace entrance after hours with our bags. The room was clean but very cramped and the aircon very noisy throughout the night.

Basic hotel stay

Reasonably priced central hotel with kitchenette, but is showing some wear and tear. There was no facecloths or soap in bathroom only shower gel and shampoo. There was hand soap in kitchen. Bed and pillows were too soft for my preference. There is a air conditioning or transfer system of some sort that has no controls in room so you have to put up with the sound, and as a light sleeper it meant a disrupted sleep. Reception service was good and explained after hrs access etc.
