Excellent Stay in Margate

Had an excellent stay at the Old Town House. The location is perfect for anyone visiting Margate as you are a short 15min walk away from the train station and right in the old town centre next to great coffee shops, restaurants and more. There is no better location in Margate. We loved being right by the market and restaurants. The room was lovely and very comfortable and quiet. The towels and shower are luxurious. The landlords were extremely helpful and responsive. We will definitely be staying here again!

Great place to stay in Margate

I’d definitely recommend the hotel. The keyless entry didn’t initially work, but the communication with the owner was quick and a new code was sent within minutes. The rooms were lovely and there was a good variety of teas and coffees available. I was worried not having check in would mean that the owners weren’t around, but they did help us figure out how to turn the air conditioning off. The location was fantastic and it wasn’t noisy in the rooms.

Thanks to Anne and Mark for a wonderful stay. We had a lovely welcome from Anne who got in touch before we arrived. We had a gorgeous room with stunning decor and modern facilities. The shower room was stunning, the AC was very effective, the bed was super comfy and there was a Nespresso machine 😃 The location is very central in the charming old town with quirky shops and bars plus close to the expansive beach for entertainment and glorious sunsets. Couldn't fault it. Hope to return. Thanks again!!

Stayed one night. Check in and out is quick via the FLEXIPASS app. The staff I met was extremely nice and helpful. The room had air conditioning and was refreshingly cool when I arrived from the summer heat. The bed was very soft and the room was very clean. The only issue I had was my phone signal in my room wasn’t great but once I connected to their WiFi it wasn’t a problem anymore. Do note that the hotel is between 2 pubs and very close to the centre of town.
