Heater did not warm up the cabin and we had one of the coldest weekends. The room was lucky to reach 15, just take the edge off. That was leaving the heater on. Not enough blankets to keep us a warm. Was lucky to have an electric blanket.

This ticked all the boxes for my family for a short getaway. Neat tidy cabins, indoor heated pool and spa, play equipment to keep kids happy and occupied. There was a new shopping centre with food outlets and supermarket just down the road which was an added bonus too. No downside for us, super happy stay!

This was our second stay and opted for a smaller cabin. Cabin was very clean and located directly next to the playground, basketball court, tennis court and pool which was very convenient for our children. But this did mean we got a lot of foot traffic around our cabin. All facilities were very clean and modern and check in and check out was very easy. My only complaints would be the size of our cabin, I would definitely opt for a larger cabin than the standard as we felt very cramped with 4 people. We also did not have an iron or ironing board provided and as it gets very cold in ballarat at night, we would have to turn the heater on but once we would put the temperature higher than 22 the power board would shut off and we would have to keep restarting it. Overall a lovely stay, would return, but would choose a different accomodation type.

Place was nice and inviting. Staff were nice 2.00 check in, room wasn’t ready till almost 4.30 Waiting at the gate with a confused and irritated 6 year old got our stay off to a negative start The cabin we stayed in was not level so our the bed was on an angle, feet higher than our heads. Yes I had access to a spirit level and checked so I knew it wasn’t me going mad. Didn’t get much sleep.....I’m not a bat. I don’t usually sleep upside down. On a positive note we had to leave a day early and the staff did refund the last nights stay we had already paid in full for.

A very nice park with lots of trees and bushes. While compact, the cabin was perfect for our overnight stay, with everything we needed, in good condition and comfortable. Shops and takeaways were very close by. The person who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. We were very happy with our stay here.

Homestead property was listed as for six... "Kids" room (four berth, used by one adult and her three kids) was cramped and scarcely enough for two people. The park itself was well appointed but this accommodation, at nearly $300 per night, was way over priced for the space and facilities provided given that kids were charged at adult prices.

LACK CUSTOMERS SERVICE AND HUMAN TOUCH

I book this Hotel for 2 adults which is a caravan park because I have to work at a near festival and the plans initially was to camp at the festival with one of my kids and rotate with my wife and my other kid so they can also rest from the noisy, unfortunately during that weekend the temperature reached 47 and my kids couldn't stay at the festival so they have to stay at the hotel with mum, next day the lady owner came from nowhere and start demanding payment from the children with a very aggressive manner very unprofessional, we are happy to pay that is the reason we left our credit card details when checking in, she doesn't have to embarrass customers in the middle of the walking way that is the reason she has an office, I learnt that is good to support small business but when they are only for the money and are opportunistic they lack that human touch. I WILL NEVER STAY AGAIN IN THIS PROPERTY BECAUSE LACKS CUSTOMER SERVICE, IS VERY SMALL AND OLD FOR THE SOME PRICE CAN STAY AROUND AT BETTER HOTELS.

Pretty good stay

We stayed at the Big-4 park for a one night stay. On arrival we were pleased with the location of our cabin. The cabin was clean, space was limited but it had a nice feel. The bed wasn’t overly comfortable but we figured it would be ok as it was only for one night. The kids loved the jumping pillow and play equipment.
