Lovely place to stay for the night - hosts were extremely welcoming and responsive. Suite was very spacious, and had the most comfortable beds of our whole trip. And absolutely beautiful, pastoral setting!

The cutest little lodge with wonderful hosts. The place is bigger than expected and would be perfect for families or larger groups. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. It was a hidden gem and we woke up to a beautiful sunrise. Great location for those visiting Hobbiton.

The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming - and we were even able to check in early. The place is in a nice quiet spot on a farm just a 15 minute drive from Hobbiton. Perfect location to stay if visiting there.

Only about 25 minutes from Hobbiton, which made it a great place to crash after the evening banquet tour. We arrived rather late and it was quite dark. When we woke up in the morning and saw the view we were blown away. Gorgeous spot with comfy beds.

A beautiful, isolated, quiet location with lots of room. We stayed two nights and enjoyed them both. We didn’t do much cooking, but everything was there. Beds were comfortable. The place was clean. The hosts were very pleasant and diligent at making sure we were comfortable. There were three of us in Kauri lodge, but could handle a larger family easily.
