The place is lovely-a property full of coconut trees and with a view on the lake. You can reach the beach in 10 minutes on foot. The manager is attentive and professional. We had dinner there a few times and the food was great (they accommodate vegans :) ).

We had the best time at Serendipity Lake house. Chathuranga was warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. It’s so peaceful and relaxing, and the food is delicious. Heaven in Sri Lanka. The space is just magical. You'll feel like you're in a private luxury jungle with an incredible view and pool. Waking up to such a serene and picturesque setting created an instant sense of calm and relaxation. What made the location even more appealing was its proximity to both the train station and the main beach, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. Chathuranga and staff at the hotel were simply exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect.
