Not a lot of options here, but the Majestic is grossly overpriced so the Lodge is your only option for a traditional hotel experience. Staff is hit or miss - some were great, some were very disinterested. Restaurant was decent but again, great busboy, lousy waitress. Rooms are comfortable but nothing special. Location is excellent for access to Valley activities.
Very good hotel in Yosemite Valley close to all the sights. Ideal for walking, climbing or simply sightseeing.
Clean, well appointed room, very quiet, with friendly, helpful staff.
Would recommend this for visits to Yosemite.
had originally requested rooms on the 2nd floor, but was assigned rooms on 1st floor. Front desk staff was happy to accomodate my original request & was moved to 2nd floor rooms after one night stay ( hotel was fully booked 1st night).
If you want to be right in the best part of the park, this place can't be beat, however you do pay the price for it. The room we had was very close to the road and it got loud pretty early in the morning, fortunately it wasn't bad at night. The room was ok, they made sure you had everything you needed, it was just kind of run down, especially the carpet. The resturants were very convenient and the shuttle system was great. The view of the falls was the best part of the place, spectacular !
Although perfectly positioned hotel in the valley of Yosemite national park, the hotel was dated & the room just about acceptable, would not of liked to stay more than 2 nights.
Very good accommodation, clean, comfortable and location, location, location!!
Good restaurants, swimming pool, presentations on site and did I mention the location.
Basic room with superb view(you are paying for the location not the comfort) . Swimming pool closed at 6 which was very disappointing as after a full day of walking the kids just want to chill and have fun. We would definitely stay in the park again.
Outside door on ground floor was broken.
We booked a room to share with another couple but facilities were not set up for four people. Had to request more pillows, coffee, cups. Made two phone calls to reception to request and took half an hour before they arrived.
Poor quality for price of room.
As we arrived outside the lodge reception there are no notices to tell you to check in before unloading your vehicle, so we trudged into the reception with all our luggage only to find that after checking in we had to reload to drive to our accommodation. We visited in early April and it was busy, with parking outside our lodge difficult, however once you've parked you don't need your car again as the free shuttle buses are great. Yosemite Falls Lodge is in a wonderful location below the Falls which are a little noisy at night but hey this is nature at its most awesome.
Hotel is great in terms of being inside the park and easy access to the free shuttle, along with lots of parking nearby at the hotel itself. We'd stay again. Only things to point out are: The keys are old fashioned keys, and so needing to keep track of it becomes a little difficult. The heater in the hotel room was quite loud.
Overall service @ food in the cafeteria in the Food Court was very poor. Long delays & staff while friendly were not trained well to deal with large groups of people. Prices for what was available were too high.

Yosemite entorno maravilloso
el entorno es extraordinario. Las rutas que se pueden hacer, incluso en invierno, son impresionantes. Lo recomiendo, aun en marzo que fue cuando hemos hecho la visita.
Yosemite Lodge at the Falls - Yosemite National Pa
Stayed for week. New park facility management company called Aramark has taken over from the Delaware & has made extensive changes & improvements in a very short time. Restaurant food in the Food Court has improved dramatically from past. Maid service was followed up by a supervisor double-checking service. Room decor appears to be updated and new including painting, not sure about carpeting. Some services not open yet for season since this visit was in March and summer season is not here yet. We've stayed in this hotel several times in past and have yet to have a complaint about anything.
Perfect location: right next to the falls, food court and bus stop inside the park and reasonably priced. Rooms were small but why would you want to stay indoors in a national park?
We had a bottom floor unit closest to Yosemite Falls. Our main window and "patio" area had a magnificent view of rocks and trees west of the falls. We just walked half a block to the road, crossed and we were at Yosemite Falls. Going the other direction = 2 blocks to the river (sandy beach area). 2 gift shops, a restaurant and cafeteria, and meeting rooms in the same complex. Permit parking for guests. Room was freshly painted and furnished. Can hear noise from upstairs room and road. Not all rooms have the same views or access.
The room - including a king-size bed and bunk-bed that sleeps 3 - was much larger than we expected, and at $143 including tax would have been a good deal even without being in Yosemite Valley, and an absolute steal considering the location. There was a nice lounge area with an L-shaped couch where we entered, plus two sinks and a small fridge in the living area. When we arrived the heat was turned on higher than was comfortable, and even after we turned it off it took several hours to cool down (which just shows that the room is well-insulated, we could have opened the windows if we wanted). I found the check-in and check-out staff to be slow, but the concession is changing on March 1 and maybe Aramark will handle that better. We brought our own food so we didn't avail ourselves of the cafeteria and can't comment on that. Not sure I'd stay there in the summer- too touristy at that point - but for the winter it was a great deal. There was no elevator to the 2nd floor, but considering that we usually camp in national parks rather than go soft at hotels, that wasn't a big deal. Wi-Fi was slow but if you need to get serious work done you shouldn't be coming to Yosemite in the first place.
