The property is superb, warm and comfortable. Steve is a very friendly host, making sure we were comfortable. It is a 10 minute walk to the centre of Greytown. The Castle is beautifully fitted out and the bed was very comfy. We had great weekend and will definitely be back. Thanks Steve.
Check in was easy, found key box in the dark, house was clean, tidy, bin liners, a few bits and pieces we didnt take were there already, 3 toilets highly recommend with lots of women!
This is a lovely little place, perfect for couples looking for a relaxing time away. Being about 2 minutes out of town right amongst the many wineries, means it is super quiet & peaceful. The owners really have put a lot of thought into the place & everything you could need for a short or long stay is provided. We would definitely stay here again!
Really impressed, and loved it. Everything was perfect, nice touches added, cottage feel, but modern kitchen and bathroom. Outdoor table, chairs and umbrella out the back so provides great privacy for sitting outside. I plan to stay again.
We really enjoyed out stay. It was very peaceful and private. We walked to the beach when we arrived. It is not an easy walk and is very steep in places. It could be a great place to have a picnic or relax next to the river. We wanted to swim and found the water level a bit low for that. Nut if you want to paddle in the water it's great. Wear aquasocks as the beach and riverbed are stony. The location was great. Far enough away that we were out of cellphine range There is wifi if you don't want to be cut off and it is a short drive to civilisation, ie Martinborough. There is a lovely farm store just down the road that is open on the weekends. Fresh produce, home baking and suprisingly good coffee. I bought some olive oil and coffee beans (roasted locally) to bring home. I asked if they had berries and they went and picked some so they were super fresh! I could rave some more but it's best you try it for yourself.I would definitely like to come and stay again.
We had a wonderful stay in this cottage. It's spacious, sunny, and private with bikes to cruise the vineyards on the back roads. Kitchen was really well stocked with everything you'd need; new bathroom was lovely with an amazing shower, and beds very comfy. Lots of spaces to sit, both inside and out, to make the most of the sun throughout the day. Clean, comfortable, easy check-in and great communication. Thanks you. We'll be back!
