Valongo cottages

Great location, easy walk along the river to Porto (45mins), bakery on the corner was great and would make ham and cheese rolls to take with you (very cheap). The house is good, has everything you need (no oven, dishwasher or washing machine as stated). Very quiet neighbourhood, friendly people around and some good fish restaurants - highly recommend the one opposite bakery, had queues of customers every evening so go early

This is a wonderful property, with great character and complete with all amenities and a swimming pool in a semi-rural area. It was the perfect base for our group of friends to explore the attractions in the region, laze by the pool and gather for meals on the terrace. Our host was exceptionally friendly and helpful, with lots of recommendations for the best things to see and do in the region.
