Sailors Rest is the perfect getaway. A quintessential kiwi crib feel made us feel right at home. Everything we needed and we were made to feel so welcome. Georgia and Steve were super helpful with local tips to make our stay even more enjoyable. Perfect location for exploring the area with uncrowded beaches nearby and for swimming, snorkeling and paddle boarding. We would definitely stay again.
This was the perfect place for a relaxing time away.House is immaculate and in a great location, shops and restaurants are in easy walking distance. The house is perfectly looked after and so quiet and peaceful. We will be booking this again in the future.
We had a lovely time at the villas. We were four adults, a two year old and an infant. The villa was really large, a good kitchen and facilities. The pool was perfect and we almost always had it to ourselves with only one other group staying. We enjoyed the fresh fruit, a walk along the old sugar cane railway and dinner out at The Junction restaurant. Rusi and Kelera were always helpful and communication was easy. You have to be very vigilant with small children as the pool is deep and unfenced and there is small cliff edge at the front of the property (with some bushes in front) but I think this is the case at most resorts etc with pools. This would be an amazing place if you had a big group and wanted to rent multiple villas! We used Coral Coast transfers to and from the airport and they were good value.
This was a kiwi family reunion, 10 adults, a baby and a 3 year old. The place is well set up to accomodate this size group. We never felt squashed, so much space to spread out. The pool is super, the building a great design. A full kitchen. We self catered, but had a few of their meals as well. Delicious The staff were amazing. We will be back.
Our extended whanau had the pleasure of staying for 10 nights. It is the perfect place for a large family.
The staff were wonderful and nothing was a problem and they were very flexible. Providing fresh pawpaw, coconuts and coconut milk and generally looking out for us.
We mostly self-catered with the exception of one delicious banquet cooked by Chef Jay (who we can highly recommend). The local supermarket had basic supplies so a trip to the nearest town Sigatoka is needed to stock up for home cooking.
There are a couple of local restaurants within as easy walk that do cheap, delicious food, as well as a petrol station.
We did not hire a rental car and got around ok using local transport and met lots of friendly locals.
We had an absolute blast in this lovely place and can highly recommend it to any larger group looking for the perfect relaxing holiday.
We loved our stay. LOVE Fijian friendliness and relaxed attitude. So easy to manage a large group and everyone was welcoming and adaptable. A special thanks for your Fijian farewell. Our emotions sun up how appreciative we are.
We stayed for 4 nights at sea winds. The house has beautiful views of the coast. The staff are welcoming and helpful with all questions and requests. Well-appointed rooms and good facilities.
It's a place where you can do as much or as little as you choose. We enjoyed walking to the beach and exploring the coastline within walking distance from the house.
