Sue and James are delightful hosts who make you feel so welcome from the minute you arrive. Clendon House provides a unique historical stay in a truly beautiful location. This provided a brilliant opportunity to experience the winterless north and the endless outdoor activities and stunning islands nearby. Thank you for helping our family make so many wonderful memories we will cherish for a lifetime.

Spent 6 days at this bach - great location, couldn't have been better to explore Northland.

The house and setting are fabulous. Well-equipped home with everything you could need- lovely linen on the beds for a great sleep, warm outdoor shower, rooftop spa, lots of deck areas with plenty of sun and shade zones, beautiful gardens and lots of bird life. The secluded beach is a short stroll down the garden path. Great communication from the host. We had a truly relaxing week away here. Would love to stay again!

We stayed at Top House from 5th to 7th Feb 2025 (Waitangi), we were absolutely blown away with the property. it was clean and immaculate. the hosts went the extra mile with ensuring the Air con was on, arriving to a nice cool property and some supplies, which was grealt appreciated! We highly recommend this property, we are planning future stays here.

We had a great stay with 8 of us (6 adults, 2 kids) in Woolley’s Bay. The location is excellent with a perfect swimming beach across the road. The house was perfect for us - the separate apartment worked well for the kids and parents. Definitely recommend for a fabulous summer holiday with a group!
