Excellent communication with the owner
This is kind of a long story but says a lot about the character of the owner of the property.
I was supposed to catch my flight to Liberia at 3:00 AM on Friday 15-November. At 2:30 WestJet cancelled the flight due to weather and airport problems in Liberia. ( They cancelled all flights due to Tropical Storm Sara.) I drove home and went to bed. Before I awoke I already had a message from Robert (The owner) informing me about the weather conditions in Guanacaste. He went out of his way to make sure the money I spent on his property was fully reimbursed to me.
The next time I go to Costa Rica I am definitely renting his property!!
