Sue and James are delightful hosts who make you feel so welcome from the minute you arrive. Clendon House provides a unique historical stay in a truly beautiful location. This provided a brilliant opportunity to experience the winterless north and the endless outdoor activities and stunning islands nearby. Thank you for helping our family make so many wonderful memories we will cherish for a lifetime.

Lovely spot amongst a citrus orchard. Handy to all the things to do in the Bay of Islands. Appreciated the Laz-e-boy chairs after a busy day exploring the area. Highly recommend to others.

We enjoyed all the amenities for our summer holiday stay! Even though the weather wasn’t great the home was beautiful and allowed a relaxing stay regardless. Great views, a bookshelf library and quick drives to local activities was excellent. Thank you!

Magic cottage is true to its name - absolutely magic.

This has been our second stay at Motupipi and the hosts are the best. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful place with us again. We have stayed in quite a few holiday homes and have never returned to the same place twice but we will definitely be back to Motupipi again. Pomare’s Secret is a superb place to stay, spic and span, totally chic and with gorgeous views of the bay. There’s peace and quiet abounding with friendly, hospitable hosts. We would love to stay here again one day. 😊

A very unique style of accommodation, a very well restored 1875 chapel converted to a compact accommodation space. Small kitchen, but adequate for your needs. Nice outdoor area overlooking two ponds, heaps of bird life. Overall, a great place to stay.
