So happy with our choice to stay at 49 Steps. A gorgeous location and property. Perfect for a weekend away with friends. We all wished we were staying longer to enjoy it more!

We loved our stay - the cabin is beautifully decorated with everything you need - including great bedside lights. Away from the crazy bustle of the town. The view was absolutely stunning - both of the Bay of Islands and the bush. Even got visited by a Morepork one night :). Loved it here - would highly recommend.

We enjoyed all the amenities for our summer holiday stay! Even though the weather wasn’t great the home was beautiful and allowed a relaxing stay regardless. Great views, a bookshelf library and quick drives to local activities was excellent. Thank you!

We loved this place, choosing this place as the spot to experience Northland was truly rewarded. This has been our second stay at Motupipi and the hosts are the best. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful place with us again. We have stayed in quite a few holiday homes and have never returned to the same place twice but we will definitely be back to Motupipi again. This was our fourth visit in as may years to this accomodation. We have stayed in the upstairs apartment twice and the downstairs apartment twice, depending on group size. On this occasion we had both as came away with another family. The accomodation is so beautifully dressed, and everything is always in full working order and absolutely spotless. We love the location as it is nice and quiet and a perfect spot to explore the Bay of Islands from.
