Coromandel Forest Park beach rentals

A lovely property close to Coromandel town - nicely appointed, however an oven and a teapot would have been useful.

I told the host on leaving that "I am a Christian and I am going to heaven" (when I die). I said, "if you want to know what heaven is like, this is it."That is the ultimate 10 out of 10 for me.

Had a wonderful stay at Easter with the family. We were 3 different families and this accommodation was just perfect for our needs. The whole process of booking was great from beginning to end. Jo, the host,had even left some Easter chocolates for us on arrival, which was very welcoming.

Our stay was excellent. The location was a minute's walk to shops and cafes and a 4-minute walk to the most amazing beach. Sue and Tom were very friendly hosts. The accommodation was superb and much larger than it looks in the photos. It was spotless inside and out. The inside is beautifully decorated and the outdoor living was really well set up. Everything you could think of was provided. Waihi Beach is so close to Waihi Township, Bowentown (we biked the track to there and back), Athenree and Katikati. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

When arriving at this property we were absolutely amazed at the view from the deck. It was such a breathtakingly beautiful spot. Fantastic access to the beach and only a short drive into coromandel town. We enjoyed many days at the beach kayaking and swimming and then returning to the deck to enjoy our evening. Only a short walk across the road and we were able to experience the sunset. The facilities and overall feel of this property are second to none. The pool table is also an added bonus too! Lisa was a fantastic host with prompt communication and gave us all the information we needed. Thanks Lisa for sharing your bach with us. The location is out of this world and was where I popped the question to my partner. I’d recommend this bookabach to anyone. Words simply can’t describe how awesome our holiday was! We were welcomed by Gordon and his lovely wife with some freshly baked cookies and a very warm welcome. The property is absolutely stunning and makes you feel like you're far away from everything with the sound of the river flowing, bird song and surrounded by lush bush, the best part is town is only a 5 min drive away. If you are looking for a place to ground yourself and unwind from city life this is the place to go, it's only a cruisy 3 hour drive from Auckland and the scenery only gets better the closer you get. The cottage is cosy, warm and kitted out with everything you need with cooking facilities, BBQ and super comfy bed. They even went the extra mile with some complimentary beverages not to mention the delicious warm cookies (we turned up just at the right time). We highly recommend staying here 😊 treat yourself!
