Hawaiian Monarch beach rentals

Apartment had all we needed and was in lovely condition with awesome views including the Friday night fireworks. The building is home to quite a few people as well as the holiday rentals. There is a lovely vibe and we enjoyed meeting the locals. Mark owns the coffee shop as well as pizza place downstairs - Maleko coffee shop. Brilliant for a proper coffee. Location is 10 minute walk to heart of Waikiki, there is a car and motor bike rental in the building. We hired a car from dollar (5min walk) and stored it in the parking garage attached to the monarch for $25 per 24 hours. The apartment comes with some beach equipment like snorkels and chairs which is handy. The kitchen has a huge fridge, drip coffee and massive microwave along with stove.The photos are a true reflection of the apartment. Steve was a brilliant host who has excellent communication. His instructions were very clear and easy to follow. He even checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was ok. We would stay again!

Very good location. Great views 180*. Close to eat out locations. 10mins walk to the beach. 15 mins walk to Ala Moana centre. 20 mins walk to Waikiki beach and the international market centre. We where there over new year, great fireworks display from our window. Big enough for 2 people. Onsite pizzeria, 2 cafes, pub, pool, laundry, little store, burgers, all good food.
