A great kiwi bach that had the perfect location right by the sea.

An old umbrella stand broke when we used it but everything else was great.

The property was perfect. We wanted a relaxed time away, with a location that delivered access to the beach for evening walks, access to great eating options, including the staying at our accommodation and relaxing. geneareading a book.

Thank you to our host Peter and his property manager Rhonda. Waikanae Beach sure turned on the sunny weather for us the whole time we were there. Sandgate is a great beach property with the most fantastic view of Kapiti Island. As I do when I go on holiday I take half the house with me, next time here I will leave most of it at home as there is plenty of everything you need. The furniture is old but comfortable and is perfect for a beach property. Beds are very comfortable. House was very clean when we arrived, has a very homely feel. Also so grateful that we could holiday with our dog, thank you so much. Will be staying here again in the future........Rose-Ann & Rex

A great place for a short or long stay. Only minutes from the beach with everything one could need for a relaxing holiday. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming!
