We were very comfortable and loved the original "kiwi bach" feel of the place. It was a stunning location and such a great way to spend my 60th birthday with my family. Thank you for the easy check-in/out process.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Sean and Charlotte were helpful and friendly and gave us space and privacy while we were there. The cabin is clean, comfortable, well supplied, and the views and bird life are amazing. Not everyone will appreciate the toilet, sink and shower being outside the cabin, but many (like us) will love it, especially in warm weather. We greatly appreciated the eco-friendly use of solar lighting, composting toilet and their efforts to recycle.

The place is quite easy to find. We met Pete up the driveway to the house. We found him very obliging, friendly and informative, great person. The property was even better than we imagined. the house was very clean, spacious, well furnished, all the amenities you could possibly need and amazing views. We absolutely loved our stay and it felt really homely. We didn't really want to leave and will recommend to other friends of ours.

A quiet elegant hideaway that suited two of us fine...will definitely stay again

Everything about our stay was fabulous. Tania is a wonderful host. Such a lovely lady. I have never felt so spoiled, even when staying a 5 Star hotels! The property is gorgeously decorated and well appointed. Everything you could possibly need (and then some) is provided. Would happily recommend to others. Hope to be back when we are back in Auckland. Thank you Tania and Mike for being such amazing hosts.

When arriving at this property we were absolutely amazed at the view from the deck. It was such a breathtakingly beautiful spot. Fantastic access to the beach and only a short drive into coromandel town. We enjoyed many days at the beach kayaking and swimming and then returning to the deck to enjoy our evening. Only a short walk across the road and we were able to experience the sunset. The facilities and overall feel of this property are second to none. The pool table is also an added bonus too! Lisa was a fantastic host with prompt communication and gave us all the information we needed. Thanks Lisa for sharing your bach with us. The location is out of this world and was where I popped the question to my partner. I’d recommend this bookabach to anyone. Words simply can’t describe how awesome our holiday was! Lovely airy and bright apartment, and well equipped. Excellent location if you are travelling by bus on the island as Surfdale is on most bus routes. Plus there is a general store, cafe, bakery and pub just a short walk away. Friendly hosts. Highly recommended!
