We were the 2nd group of guests to stay at Walter's property. The accommodation is new, very clean and is tastefully decorated.
Whether you are heading N or S on the highway this place (Harihari) is an excellent stopover and base to go exploring.
This is new venture for Walter but I am sure it will be the beginning of great things to come.
WiFi is being installed but as a stop gap you can use the excellent cafe a few steps away.

Spacious place to spread out in on the inevitable odd rainy day in this fantastic location! Comfortable and modern throughout, stylish living area, excellent couples shower in one bathroom, big bathtub in the other - great water pressure, generous space for clothing, one bedroom has a huge walk-in wardrobe, and there's a handy computer desk nook.
Easy parking, great views all around that make it easy to assess the weather and plan your activities (more accurate than the weather forecasts).
We loved staying in this place, drive into FJ is only about 5min, totally worth it!

Well equipped little hut that is ideal to disconnect from the world and just chill out. They've done a great job of making the hut comfortable and functional without frills. We didn't end up using the bath because it was just too hard to get fire going. A little attention here would make that more enjoyable and usable.

Great cottage and memories made! Exactly as described - and has got our teens out of their comfort zones. Was great to get them to experience an old skool way of living! Highlight was the hot springs down the road. Really appreciated the tour of the property and have recommended the cottage to friends already.
