Northwest Akron lake rentals

Overall this was a good property but there are a few things that it needs to become a 5. Pros: Clean, new furniture/appliances, comfy bed and sofa, quick responses to questions, K cups provided, nice tv. Cons: The outside - there's a reason there are no outside pics in the listing. The yard is a mess, no outdoor furniture, and there is poop all over - not usable. Fortunately I asked about the hot tub in the listing before we got there because there isn't one (listing has been updated). We booked this place in part because we wanted to BBQ each night for dinner. A grill is listed in the amenities and I checked with the manager beforehand to make sure that was correct. He said there wasn't one but he would make sure there was one there before we arrived. That didn't happen. When I called, I got a quick response and someone dropped off a new small, portable grill with charcoal and lighter fluid. That was super nice except it required tools to put it together which we didn't have. Also, it was a very cheap (or poorly made) grill so the part holes were misaligned and new holes needed to be drilled to assemble it. A grill may not be a big deal for other people but it was a real miss for us especially since I confirmed with the manager there was one at the property before I booked. If you'll spend all your time indoors, this is a good place.
