We had only 2 nights and were fairly busy, so didn't get to enjoy surroundings and the property so much, but if you're looking for a place to crash, do some surfing, walks on the beach, have a great coffee from the coffee truck right across the road, watch something on netflix when it's all done, this is your spot!

We highly recommend staying at this property. The staff are fantastic. The surroundings peaceful. The accommodation very reminiscent of Europe and extremely comfortable. We couldn’t have picked a more perfect place to take a break. And a special mention for Kumara who took the time to make us feel welcome!

One of the cleanest holiday homes / rentals I have stayed in. Hosts were very clear with communication and made the self-check in and out easy. Kitchen well-stocked with pots and pans, cutlery, crockery etc. Netflix available via an account already set-up on the TV, which was great. Italian restaurant directly over the road that opens for dinner is lovely.The only issue I had was road and wind noise - the road is quiet but anything that does go past you definitely know about, alongside the large trees making a bit of sound when they sway in the wind. Easily fixed with a pair of earplugs when going to sleep.I would stay again!

We will definitely use this bach again.
The cottage was clean. and the views of Christchurch from the porch are amazing especially at sun rise and sun set.
