We enjoyed the well equipped kitchen and bbq for cooking. The fireplace and heatpump made it warm and cozy. The beds were comfy. The table was large enough for us to enjoy meals together. Good central location. Lovely touches like milk, hot water bottles, chocolates, and fire ready to light. The prompt communication made for an easy stay. We relaxed and enjoyed our time in the cozy well designed home. Look forward to coming in summer to enjoy the garden and out door areas.

Amazing property, we would highly recommend. Everything blew us away with Carterley House - the cleanliness, comfort, space, communication with the host, and location were all exceptional.

Nice big clean property with a decent back garden for the dogs. Quite a walk to town (4k) - but we like walking! Quiet neighbourhood too.

We spent a week at this flat while my daughter attended a holiday workshop nearby. The location in Merivale/St Albans was excellent, with good restaurants, shops and supermarkets nearby.Clark was a lovely host who kindly accommodated our changing needs.

An excellent property - very clean and well maintained. The house was modern, well furnished, clean, bedding and beds were excellent. Close to town and local shops. Would definitely stay again if we visit Christchurch in the future.
