We drove up for one night from Christchurch and a great time despite the howling southerly! The location is amazing with an incredible view and the house itself is immaculate, every detail has been really well thought out and the place is beautifully done. The communication with the hosts was the best we’ve had from anywhere we’ve stayed and it’s clear that they genuinely care about you having a great time. We will definitely be back! Thanks so much!

This property totally lived up to expectations. It was beautiful and just perfect. The property is safe for children and small dogs, it is well equipped and everything has been thought of.

It was a real privilege to stay at Lyddington. The cottage is comfortable and well provisioned, the host amiable and the setting something that Capability Brown could have imagined. It was truly a charming and relaxing time

This is a lovely wee cabin in a very pretty forest setting. It's very comfortable and well kitted out. The hosts John and Marion are absolutely charming and very welcoming. Highly recommended.
