Sockburn oceanfront rentals

We enjoyed our stay. The home was warm, clean and comfortable. We really appreciated how close it was to the green grocers. The host went the extra mile with fruit and bottled water. We felt the only things missing were tea bags and salt and pepper.

I had organised a geriatric girl’s road trip for my sister and a group of knitters/crafters, Racecourse Villa being the Christchurch leg. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. There was plenty of space for all 9 of us in this lovely property, clean and tidy, everything we needed. Would recommend to anyone.

Stayed here for a couple of nights at the start of a little road trip. House was as described, clean, warm (heat pump in main room that was enough for us although there were heater in each of the bedrooms as needed) and had a well equipped kitchen. Couple of minor maintenance issues reported so they can be fixed for future visitors but didn’t disturb our stay.

A fabulous property for our family. It has everything you need. A great location to the city, Hornby shops, Riccarton mall and dress smart. Great contact by the owners. It is close to a main road however it is easy to get in and out when you understand the road.
