We had a lovely, relaxing 3 nights in Parapara beach. The bach is right on the beach with stunning views all the way to Farewell Spit. It was dog friendly and we met lots of nice people on the beach with their dogs!

A wonderful place to stay. Great views, great facilities and easy access to a great beach. The bach was very well equipped and had fast wifi and a large Smart TV. The outdoor shower was convenient to wash off the sand and sea water. Very good outdoor deck to catch the breeze, barbeque and soak up the views across to Farewell Spit. It's also close to Takaka as well as all the walks, galleries and beaches along the area.

My son (who lives in Sweden) and I spent a couple of nights at Parapara heights. The accommodation was lovely, the owners were both friendly and helpful and the view was sensational...it was hard to leave!

Awesome stay…. beautiful place with so many neat extras for the kids such as the goats,chickens, ducks and pigs. Great communication from hosts. A real sanctuary with everything that was needed for our group and was loved by all. Thanks so much - we will be back! :)

What an amazing spot I am so glad I found it … perfect for me needing some down time . The track down to the awesome beach was magical and having great weather made it even more special….. the sunrise this morning was spectacular. The hosts were amazing and went beyond expectation. We didn’t realise Is was just a one room cabin with no kitchen.. we worked around it..

Great place, house was as described Location fantastic for dog walking along beach and through the forest. Comfotablr stay. Recomnend

The place was clean and tidy, well set up for a large group. Sadly my Dad and I arrived late at night so didn’t get to really experience the property much but I could imagine it being a wonderful escape for a big family or group of friends to enjoy. Walking distance to shops, cafes and the local pub/restaurant as well as the Farewell Spit tour company (which is why we were late arriving). Great backyard and access to water for kayaking or swimming. The hosts were quick and thorough in their responses so I felt good about booking with them.
