Oaro rentals with pool

Just the most wonderful experience. 6 adults and three grandchildren..something for all…welcoming reception…beautiful homemade afghans and real plunger coffee and marshmallows as a welcome on bench when we arrived. Well away from internet access was just superb! The activities available from outdoor games to inside games..can’t rate this stay highly enough.

Lovely little home, very clean, fresh and comfortable and very well equipped. Short stroll to the beach, we enjoyed our stay very much.

A fantastic wee spot just moments outside Kaikoura. The wagon is truely sensational to stay in with incredible views over Mt Fyffe. We really enjoyed feeding the animals with our 23 month old son.

Wonderfully set up for open plan living and entertaining, very well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds and plenty of wardrobe space for luggage. Looking forward to arriving in the warmer months to enjoy the outdoor courtyard and bbq. A home away from home that we’ll definitely come back to. Exceptional communications with the owner who navigated us throughout the process, before during and after. Thank you Phyllis.

We had a great stay at Heather and Mark's. It was perfect for our needs--two young children--allowing for frequent walks to a playground, the South Bay wharf, and the beach, which were only a few minutes walk away. The wharf where Whale Watch Kaikoura launches from is only a couple of minutes walk away, and we were able to walk home from the launch without having to go back into town (be sure to call Whale Watch Kaikoura ahead of time to let them know these are your plans!). There was a fence to the driveway that allowed us to bound off the road and the let the kids run around without worrying. The tree swing and basket of toys were a lovely surprise that the kids appreciated. The property was clean and tidy, and had everything we needed. The BBQ was ready to go and easy to use. Heather and Mark were great communicators and their instructions for accessing the property and places to visit in the area were very clear. We will definitely try to stay here again if we make it back to Kaikoura.

Great little place, was warm and had everything we needed for the weekend. Quiet location close to walking track.

4 Adults and 1 child. Only a quick stop over to go whale watching the next morning (very convenient). The host was lovely. The cottage was rustic but comfortable and cosy. We will need to try and come back and enjoy the activities on offer. Recommend +++
