Holiday rentals near Allanton Hill Nature Refuge

We had an awesome experience staying at this property. The property itself is truely amazing. It is open, cool in the heat and has the most beautiful view and vibe from the balcony area.You can sit outside & enjoy looking at the rain forest in the sunshine or rain. We loved listening to the birds & nature each morning & evening. The green tree frogs did not disappoint and the rain forest at our doorstep was a truely memorable experience. The amenities were great including a well resourced kitchen to work in. The hosts were welcoming & available. It was up there with one of the best places to stay for a rain forest experience in a beautiful part of the world. Truely memorable.

The house is very comfortable and well-equipped. We used it as a base to enjoy activities on Cape Trib - the Discovery Centre, walks, Reef trip. The house is further than we expected from dinner places, (except Crocodylus), with the Cow Bay Hotel now closed. So we did feel a little isolated. We walked to the exquisite beach a couple of times - an easy 20 mins away.

Alan and Susan are very special inspirational people. Accommodation excellent , surroundings amazing. Hosts fantastic.
