Holiday rentals near 25 Fontes and Cascada da Risco

My family and I spent 10 nights in Calheta at Alberto’s beautiful home! It was a great amount of space for 3 adults and one 10 year old. Easily could have fit another family with the use of downstairs. The place was well equipped to make meals and eat on the veranda overlooking the town and the mighty Atlantic. We loved staying in Calheta- with a rental car- it was easy to access various other nearby communities. The town is just down the hill (by car) and there are a good amount of restaurants and a grocery store. Rosa was wonderful to communicate with. We enjoyed having paid access to the hot tub, and access to the sauna and unheated pool included with the house. Next time we visit in the winter however- we will pay to have the pool heated. While the weather was nice- the pool was still a bit frigid. Overall we had an amazing family vacay. We enjoyed spending Christmas at this lovely home and look forward to returning to Madeira!
