Super well equipped - all the kitchen stuff you could need, loads of towels including tea towels and beach towels which were really handy. Close to city centre, a couple of cafes and shops nearby too. Two balconies and the top one with views to die for. Perfect for watching sunrise with the blackbirds singing all around. And the hosts are absolutely brilliant - friendly, available, great communication throughout. Such a brilliant option for Madeira and all for a very competitive price. We were so happy with our choice. Thanks Aldina

Hi generally a good place to stay, host was very nice.The property is on a steep hill and found the walk up a problem for me personally, and renters should be aware of this, saying that we got around it with buses and using Bolt.Although did not affect my stay overall I think it is reasonable to have working appliances if you wish to use them. The coffee machine i could not get to work or the tv, There was a TV remote but only one channel was available.The place itself was good great views from balcony but i do feel could do with some improvement, one wall needed painting where patch plastered.

We had a very relaxing stay and our host was fantastic. It was our first visit to Madeira. We loved the balcony view - very picturesque with great views of the town and the sea. There was a fully stocked nespresso machine in the kitchen which was a nice touch and our host was very informative on where to eat and places to see. It was great to have beach towels provided. Overall a lovely stay.

We had a great holiday.The lower rating for family was given thinking of young children and the stairs could be a problem.All interactions with the owners were helpful, informative and punctual.We cooked and ate in some of the time and there was plenty kitchen equipment for that.

The stay at Aldinas place was absolutely great. The appartement is clean, spacious and has a great few over beautiful Funchal. Communication with the owner was flawless and easy, they were really helpful with lokal Tips.

Great view and location!

We were so positively surprised! The place is great. Close to the city centre and easy to find free parking nearby :)) But the view... We spent so much time just looking at the sea from the top balcony 😍 Highly recommend:))!!

Convenient property & great host

Our host João was very kind and helpful. The property was very good and was as described in the listing. It included all the facilities that we needed and was located a 10 minute walk away from Central Funchal. All in all it served as a lovely base to explore the rest of Madeira from.

Awesome place and great location

Cannot really ask for anything more in a rental property. Great location that is very central to Funchal, amazing balcony with views, nice kitchen and bathroom. The owner is very easy to reach and more than willing to help out with anything. Great price as well.

A month in Madeira

The location of the property is excellent. Close to many points of interest and an exceptional view from the upper balcony. We stayed for 4 weeks, so the proximity to local cafes and small grocery stores was very helpful. The major shopping area and large grocery store was 15.minutes walk. The hill to the centre of town is steep, but we were prepared for that. Madeira is beautiful and Funchal is a fascinating town to explore. This property was a perfect base for that.

Great spot

It was really handy for town, and the view from the rooftop terrace was amazing. The house itself was lovely. I think the kitchen could have been better equipped and the fridge not right in front of oven door, the bedding in the second room could do with an upgrade, but overall it was great value for money.

great stay in Funchal

The appartment is nicely located in a not too busy but yet very central area of Funchal. Stunning view from the terrace / balony over the ocean/ harbor and mountains. Owners are very kind, easy to reach out to and super helpful. Will come back if possible.
