Holiday rentals near Raglan & District Museum

The moment we stepped in the door, we were blown away by the cleanliness, the use of space, and the incredible shower (with the shower head being nick-named Godzilla by us). The view was the most amazing welcome, closely followed by discovering the local treats in the fridge. Far enough, yet not too far from Raglan, meant that we could enjoy the great local coffee and then escape the crowds by driving back along gravel roads (along the coast and around Mt Karioi).It was the perfect location for a quiet weekend for us (after dropping the teenagers to Sound Splash)- from reading on the couch, in between wee jaunts out, through to hot chocolates (with the local milk) under the stars on the deck. Whether you are wanting to hide away from the crowds (yet go and grab a coffee) for a couple of days, or somewhere relaxing to head back to after a day of swimming, surfing, or meandering around the coast, we cannot recommend Sue and John’s place enough.

We were two friends staying at this lovely place up the hill in Raglan in the groundlevel appartment. It's suited for people who don't mind sharing a space, as there is no door between the two beds and hence no real privacy. Generally well equipped and even with a dishwasher now, the place is pretty much only lacking a colander and a teapot. :(

The house is clean and tidy. All basic needs are provided for. Great bathroom and kitchen. Everything is great. The property is a perfect place for when you need to get away and switch off from the noises of the city. The big fenced grassed ground is perfect for our dog to run around, she loves it. Did I mention that the host, Annette, was amazing. Highly recommended!

Is an amazing place to stay. Easy to walk and enjoy nearby Whale Bay. To hear the roar of the ocean from the place makes it special. And a great host

Lovely view in a very stylish bach. Lounge and kitchen area very open and airy and couch is comfy. Close to the little town; everything close by. Steep driveway a bit unexpected and our car struggled but you can park at the very top. Small upstairs bedroom and wardrobes all locked; no hooks provided. Owner graciously sent us some things we had left behind which was amazing. Would definitely recommend for a cool homely place in Raglan that feels a bit classy too!
