THE APARTMENT
The Charming Lope de Vega is a beautiful apartment nicely decorated. It is located in the best area of Madrid, the Barrio de las Letras, very close to the most important attractions of the city.
Despite being in the center of the city the apartment is very quiet, perfect to rest after a long day of work or visiting the city.
The apartment has a spacious living room with open plan kitchen and bar-table to have meals.
The kitchen is fully equipped with: ceramic hob, oven, fridge and freezer, washing machine and dryer, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, kitchen utensils, plates and cutlery, glasses, etc.
The bathroom is private and equipped with a comfortable shower.
Among the amenities of the apartment we also find: Free Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels, iron and ironing board and free toiletries.
THE AREA
The apartment is located in the best area of Madrid! You can go to all the main attractions walking, without having to take any means of transport. Plaza Santa Ana is a couple of minutes away, and Puerta del Sol is about 5 minutes away.
The Barrio de Las Letras, where the apartment is located, is a quiet area with car traffic restricted only to the owners of the area. It is a fascinating area where numerous restaurants and terraces offer numerous tapas and drinks.
The Prado Museum is just 10 minutes walk away, the Gran Vía another 10 minutes... you will be in the center of everything! In fact, for many people from Madrid, the Barrio de las Letras would be an ideal place to live.
TRANSPORT
The nearest metro stations are Antón Martín (Line 1) and Sol (Lines 1, 2, 3 and Cercanías Renfe, very useful if you come from the airport by metro or nearby).

Nice and clean apartment

Everything was fine. Cleanliness, Location and mr. José was very helpful. The only thing that I wasn’t happy about was that the listing said that the apartment have a garage for a car, but it didn’t. I have to spend extra money for a parking witch is very expensive in Madrid.

Nice spot, great location

Enjoyed our stay. Manager very accessible and responsive. Location is close to many top attractions. Just make sure you get a thorough demonstration of how the front door key works. We struggled with it for most of the stay.

Across from the Prado, down from the Sofia

We had a wonderful time, thank you so much. The apartment location could not have been better, and it was very well-equipped. Having a washer/dryer is very handy. The apartment was a little dark due to its interior location on the light well, but was very quiet as a result. We’ve never experienced an accommodation with such good water pressure; it was a real treat. I love a powerful shower, so I was in heaven!
