Welcome to your favorite place to stay while vacationing in the Black Hills! Grand Lookout Lodge is located in a perfect spot to enjoy everything the Black Hills has to offer! Within 15 minutes to Deadwood, across the highway from Recreational springs - which has access points to snowmobile and ATV trails with ability to unload toys at the property and ride to the trails, a short 5 minute drive to Spearfish Canyon, 5 miles to Terry Peak, and within a mile to the base of Deer Mountain. You'll be enjoying your vacation in no time from this centrally located property!

You'll have for your stay a beautiful 3000 sq. ft. cabin, 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, 3 separate floors for your group to spread out, satellite TV, a pool table for those nights in with your comrades, a jacuzzi tub and covered hot tub! You'll also get to enjoy IPod accessible outdoor speakers while you sit in the hot tub after a long day of fun on the trails! The master bedroom on the main floor includes a Tempurpedic king bed, two upper level bedrooms have a king bed in one and two bunk beds in the other, the lower level bedroom has another king bed and there's also a pull out for added space. With all these amenities, you'll never want to leave and come back for more every year!

Don't forget about your easy access to the central Black Hills where you can enjoy Mount Rushmore, Hill City, and Keystone within an hour drive! Grand Lookout Lodge is the perfect place for your friends and family to enjoy on your trip to the Black Hills! The cabin is also next to our other properties - Lynx Lodge, Grand Lookout Lodge, Dancing Pines, and Timber Bark Lodge for larger groups needing multiple cabins. The rental was absolutely perfect for our family of seven! Everyone had plenty of room and the cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed, or forgot!! Perfect Getaway

Our family of six had a wonderful time and loved the amenities, pool table, hot tub, comfortable beds and spaciousness of the cabin. Feels very secluded and is close to Terry Peak which is why we went but also next to snowmobile trails and local towns. Would definitely go again!

Sadly, in October of 2024, the owner of this house was told that the fireplace and tv’s don’t work and the dining room chairs need to be replaced. Stayed there in July, 2025 and it was still the same. I can’t recommend this home.There were food crumbs in the kitchen drawers and the dishwasher doesn’t work. It’s a shame because the house is pretty and the area is beautiful.

Home was okay, there was plenty of space, location was good, and the kitchen was well stocked with an assortment of utensils/cookware and basics like oil/spices/coffee. Bathrooms were _almost_ clean; drains were too slow not to shower in standing water, there was no soap in the bathrooms, and the bath towels were distressingly...worn in. The hot tub temperature was locked at an unbearably hot temperature, making that amenity unusable. WiFi information was not provided, none was available. Fine in a pinch, but not quite a place i'd return to voluntarily.
