About this property
Gorgeous Log Home with Hot Tub & Fiber WiFi! “The Green Apple Lodge”
Nestled in the woods near the shores of Green Bay this nostalgic log home awaits your arrival - cleaned and sanitized for your safety & peace of mind.
The bay, with its wonderful Door County sunsets, is just a five-minute walk down the road. The lodge's southern exposure provides plenty of light for a very open, cheery feeling. There is sleeping for eight people with three bedrooms plus a loft. Accommodations include two full baths, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room with a natural stone fireplace, and a laundry room. A covered front porch wraps around to a back deck that offers a therapeutic hot tub (subject to winter conditions).
Each bedroom features log beds, hand-made by the home's builder. A king-sized bed is located in the master bedroom on the main floor. A stunning log staircase leads to the second floor, where you will find two more bedrooms and a full bath. One upstairs bedroom provides a queen-sized bed and the second upstairs bedroom features a bunk bed which has a full-sized bottom and twin-sized top. Each of the second floor bedrooms have their own sliding patio doors onto a covered deck off the back of the home. The loft area is a cozy reading spot with a love seat (which can be pulled out into a twin bed). There is also a pull-out bed in the living room couch by the fireplace.
The house is beautifully decorated with custom-made barn board and distressed pine furniture through-out, as well as custom wrought-iron light fixtures in the kitchen and dining room. Please feel free to ask for details on our cleaning & sanitation practices.
You may not even want to leave the house, but if you do you are also just a four mile drive straight down Bay Shore Drive to Frank E. Murphy Park, where you will find a sandy beach and a public boat launch in the summer. There are numerous snow mobile trails throughout the county. Enjoy beautiful fall foliage or the hopeful blooms of spring.
Nearby towns include Egg Harbor village, Sturgeon Bay and quaint Carlsville. A scenic drive will lead you to any of the beautiful villages on the Door Peninsula.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! It was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and you could tell the owners put a lot of thought into every detail. The forest-themed décor throughout the cabin was beautiful and created the perfect cozy Northwoods atmosphere. The hot tub was fantastic and a great way to relax after a day of exploring Door County. The beds were also very comfortable, which made it easy to get a great night’s sleep.Overall, this cabin exceeded our expectations. It was peaceful, inviting, and felt like a true getaway. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat!
This was one of the best vacations I have ever taken. The whole process was amazing and the owners are the kindest people. I highly recommend this cabin!!
We had a wonderful stay at the Green Apple Lodge for a holiday weekend with family. The lodge was exceptionally clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated. It truly felt welcoming from the moment we arrived. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy time together, and the overall atmosphere made it easy to settle in and feel at home. The owner, Patty, was very responsive, communicative, and helpful before and during our stay, which made the experience completely stress-free. We would absolutely recommend the Green Apple Lodge to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-cared-for vacation rental.
This is a wonderful property! The home owners have anticipated your every need! The authentic log home is warm, comfortable and extremely clean! My family of 6 adults and 3 dogs had a great weekend together. The first floor is very spacious. The kitchen is very well stocked. We will stay at The Green Apple Lodge again! If you are looking for a cozy place in Door County, look no further! We absolutely loved exploring this area south of Egg Harbor. Quite the well kept secret! Looks like another Ephraim! You won’t regret this decision!
We enjoyed our stay. It was close to the state parks and various attractions. Plenty of things to do. The fireworks at Egg Harbor was awesome. The house was well stocked. Very clean. Would definitely stay here again

Beautiful home for any occasion! Stayed here for a girls getaway and it was perfect! Owner was very responsive and so friendly. The house would be perfect for any group- kid friendly too with a lot of amenities. The location was private and cozy and all around perfect for what we were looking for.
Spent a week at the cabin with family. The region is spectacular and cabin is amazing! Hidden in the woods but just a short walk to the lake! Highly recommend!
Fantastic property, beautiful location. The location couldn’t have been better. The cabin was very spacious and clean with everything we needed for a week stay. The host was fantastic as well, very responsive and communicated all check in processes well prior to arrival. Only disclaimer, and this didn’t sway me from a 5 star review, but if you are a firm bed sleeper, these beds in this cabin are made out of clouds and marshmallows, they are by far the softest beds I have ever felt. Still an amazing stay, highly recommend.
You can’t go wrong with the Green Apple Lodge. It’s nestled in the greenery right off of Lake Michigan and it comes with everything you’ll ever need. It’s clean, dog friendly, and the quintessential up north cabin. It made our getaway with family and friends one to remember!
... sleeping options were perfect....2 bathrooms were convenient(necessary for 6 women). Location was great for getting to local shops and restaurants. Home was secluded (means we didn't bother neighbors with our late night gigglefests) Kitchen had everything we needed. Highly recommend
Very nice place for a getaway quick. My wife and I enjoyed our shared birthday weekend. Bevause of time of eyar, we cooked a couple nights there and we basically had everything we needed. Nothing beats that hot tub when the snowflakes were coming down! Thanks for a wonderful stay.
We had a marvelous time staying here. The communication with the property manager was simply perfect. Everything was exactly as we expected it to be and we couldn't have been more comfortable. Cabin is nestled out in the woods. So private and homey. Will look forward to staying here next time we are in the area. I couldn't have been more pleased.
We enjoyed our vacation in Door County, the location of the property, and the experience of staying in a log home. The hot tub was a big hit. Discovering that the dryer was not functional after our first trip to the beach presented some challenges.
Green Apple Lodge was super charming and very cozy. We used the well appointed kitchen for all our meals, made a fire every night, and used the hot tub several times too! Loved the Christmas decor and placing gifts under the tree. We walked our dog in the area everyday. It was so quiet in this remote area and not far to drive into Egg Harbor or up further to Fish Creek and Sister Bay. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
The property was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It was relaxing to use the hot tub in winter. The property had all the kitchen supplies to cook meals. The property owners were not joking when they warned the internet was spotty but that just meant more time for conversation and board games!
