About this property

Beautiful villa with swimming pool and garden in top location (mid-term only)

Update: unfortunately Bonaire government have decided that houses in our area can only be rented out mid-term (minimal 3 months). Therefore this listing has been adjusted. Villa Blou-Berde was completed in April 2019 and is located on a lot of more than 950 m2. The villa is located in the Belnem district of La Palma, a 5-minute drive from the city and a 5-minute drive from Lac Bay. You only have to drive to the beach in a few minutes.

The villa has a porch full of wind with lovely lounge corner, 4 luxury sun beds and 4 beach chairs and of course a dining table to enjoy the outdoors. The whole is surrounded by a spacious garden with young plants. In the garden there is a spacious palapa of more than 3 by 3 meters. Of course there is a private swimming pool of 7 by 4 meters with an additional seating area of 3 by 3 meters. There is also a Weber BBQ, Fatboy hammock, outdoor shower and outdoor sink for diving equipment.

The entire house and the porch have the same floor tiles with a wood look, making it one whole. There are 3 bedrooms with box spring beds (all with air conditioning) and 2 bathrooms. Both bathrooms have a walk-in shower, double sink and toilet.
The kitchen has an American fridge with water tap and ice cubes, oven, induction hob, dishwasher, toaster, nespresso machine, milk frother, kettle, sandwich maker and blender. There is a washing machine and a safe.
And of course there is WIFI in and around the entire house. The living room has a cozy sitting area with a TV that is connected to the internet (for example for using Netflix) and a large dining table.

Mentioned prices include service charge for Sunbelt manager for airport transfer, 24/7 support, final cleaning.
Prices include (normal) use of water and electricity and include tourist tax.

When renting villa Blou-Berde you can get a voucher to use a 20% discount at Dive Friends Bonaire, a PADI Dive Center with 8 locations on the island. The discount applies to air / nitrox, boat diving and courses.

Great place to stay

This place was great. Stayed here with some family. Very clean inside with nice pool and a gazebo to watch birds flying around. Pool was very clean and refreshing.

After our first visit we immediately fell in love with Bonaire. If we are on the island we do not want to leave anymore even our perfect own house in The Hague, Netherlands.

Why they chose this property

In the summer of 2017 we rented the house next to our villa. We were so enthusiastic about the house and the location that we went looking for information on available lots in this neighborhood. Luckily we had the opportunity to buy a the lot next door and build a house almost similar with few small adjustments.

What makes this property unique

The porch with wind blowing all day and night which makes it great to sit outside since wind takes care of some cooling.
The large garden with big palapa gives you a wonderful holiday feeling.
Next to this the decision to create a big window between kitchen and porch and of course the lovely and large swimming pool, the location on just 5 minutes drive to Kralendijk, 5 minute drive to Lac Bay and less than 5 minute drive to closest beaches.
