The flat is very well thought out. It is light, airy, and very comfortable and contains pretty much everything you could wish for. Beth is very welcoming and accommodating and there are a lot of things to do in the area.

What a beautiful place to stay. This is a quaint small town. Our host, Beth, met us when we arrived and gave us a nice run through of our house. The amenities are all modern in this 200 year old home. The king bed was very comfortable.

Perhaps the nicest property I have stayed in

I have stayed in many BnB properties and this has to be the best equipped yet. Everything was good quality - nice casserole, baking trays, blender, etc. It was all there. The decor represents, the owner’s travels around the world. Beth and John are delightful and I loved being able to order fish, eggs and vegetables through them each week from the local delivery person. I will definitely book here again if I am in the Gifford area.

Short break in Gifford

Lovely flat in centre of small village which had everthing we needed . Great location for visiting many attractions in East Lothian. Our host lived next door and was very helpful.

Would now like to welcome people from overseas to our home. The aprtment is situated next door to our house so we are always on hand to answer questions.

Why they chose this property

The location of this property is ideal if you want to vist the cultural sights of Edinburgh or visit the coastal towns. The village is set in a conservation village in the heart of the country. My husband grew up here and is very familiar with the area.
