Riverside Cabin W/ Hot Tub Near Fly Fishing And Hot Springs

Welcome to the Hot Springs Hideout. This open floor plan cabin is located right on the Big Horn River and is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The cabin has all the comforts of home including a full kitchen equipped with most necessary items for meal prep and is located within Thermopolis so delivery of many foods is also available. A river rental shop is close by if you want to depart from the cabin by kayak, paddle board, tube or boat down the river from the cabin to the hot springs state park, or simply anchor your boat up next to the cabin after a long day of successful fly fishing. The boat ramp is approximately a block away located just across the river via the 8th street bridge. You can grill on the deck or soak in the hot tub at the rivers edge. Dry camping is available 1/4 mile up river along a beautiful stretch of slow deep water with a boat ramp upon request for any additional guests. $10/person/night.

We had a great time, so easy and everything we needed was there. We rented kayaks next door and floated down to the hot springs State Park. Host really responsive but I didn't need anything except to ask about clean up instructions!

A snug family spot!

We enjoyed the Thermopolis cabin for a three night stay. We all loved the hot tub and the river views. The kitchen was well stocked, the bathrooms were not huge but worked well, and we liked all the cozy blankets to snuggle up and watch movies. For a family of nine, it was a little tight, but we would totally stay there again. Thanks for the great time!

We enjoyed the cabin! Pretty cold this time but we love the area and this cabin! Enjoyed the hot tub and just relaxing at the friendly/ homey cabin! We love the cabin! Always a great place! Great Thermopolis accommodations

We just stayed 5 nights in late march and had a great time. Great layout to the cabin, roomy and comfortable, all the necessities, brand new beautiful deck overlooking the river with hot tub. Great communication from owner on all fronts. Additionally there is an outdoor rental shop right next to the cabin where drift boat and other river gear can be rented. Literally across the street from the boat takeout. Will come back every year.

Wyoming Fly Fishing

This property is a jewel! The "cabin" feel appeals to the guys while the kitchen appeals to the girls. We have been at this property 3 times now and will return again. The fire pit and the hot tub get used every time we are there. We love watching the sunset over the river. We LOVE being dropped off right at the back door after a day of fishing. Everything is so easy and convenient!

"the River is my Happy Place"

This was what's written on a sign over the door leading to the River and a summary of this place. The house is a perfect fishing getaway with a huge driveway. We had 8 guys and a dog, along with 3 drift boats and everyone was comfortable. Dusty was a great host and we hope to come back next year. Thank you Dusty!!!

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We had 10 people in our group and one slept on the couch. We wanted a place close enough to Yellowstone but without paying the high price. We spent one day floating the river. My husband and cousin fished right by the house. We had a very relaxing time. Rusty responded right away to any questions. I would highly recommend this rental.

Peace & Calmness

This cabin was truly the best location in town! with being directly on the river, there is endless fishing, kayaking, paddling and fun! The cabin has a perfect layout to accommodate larger groups without feeling crowded. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he is amazing! He also owns the paddle and kayak rentals just outside of the house, so it makes it so convenient to just hop on the boards and go right from the back yard! If I could give this 10 stars, I would! So, so happy with our stay! Thank you, Dusty!

Nice place on the river, nice deck

Nice location on the river with a nice deck, with firepit and hot tub. Good communication with owner. Difficulty initially with not having tv remote and hot tub being dirty, but that was addressed the next morning. Small town with limited offerings but enjoyed the hot springs, floating on river and went to see the petroglyphs outside of town. River is accessible from property, rocky and inaccessible along most of edge with small access area also used by rental company. House has lots of basics which is great - plenty of towels but also kitchen spices and supplies. Thank you!

Beautiful view of the river from the porch. Very nice to have the hot tub. Cabin was very large three bedrooms. Kitchen was well equipped, other than no wine glasses. A little trouble figuring out the hot tub controls and the TV controls, a book of instructions for the cabin would be nice. King bed was very comfortable in the master. Would definitely recommend this cabin, for the beautiful view, peaceful feeling watching the river, and overall comfort of the cabin.

Beautiful Cabin on River

The check-in process was smooth and Dusty was absolutely phenomenal- the AC was out when we arrived and despite being out of town, he promptly responded to us and he got in touch with the repair service and all was fixed by 8pm. The only downside is that since the cabin is right next to a river boat rental company, and the put out is at the base of the canin property, we had multiple groups hanging out on the lawn and front yard nearby throughout the entire day (on a Saturday- presumably other days would be less busy). The outside back patio was buggy and the lights were burned out above the hot tub, but the hot tub was clean and well maintained and the grill was great. Overall, a pleasant stay, and we'd visit again!
