Great cottage for the price.
Great cottage for the price. Large spacious and the best equipped cottage we have ever stayed in! The cottage literally has everything you need to cook and live comfortably (apart from the clothes you bring), would recommend highly. The location is slightly out of the main lakes area, but within 25mins we where at Keswick and Derwent water. It was over an hour to windermere but we only went there once, and there is enough to enjoy nearby for a family of 4. Only feedback for owner/manager- There was a lot of condensation or damp build up on the main bedroom back wall, which was wet to touch in the mornings (they will be able to see the drips from the picture frame). Would recommend an extra heater in this room. But overall really enjoyed our stay and would come back maybe in the summer months to be able to enjoy the lovely garden and outdoor space.
