Great family getaway
This was our first family vacation in more than two years. All our adult children and their spouses had their own space so there was no feeling of forced togetherness. We were able to relax and enjoy each other's company. The location is excellent and the house is comfortable.
The Best Beach House
We loved this beach house, especially the kitchen since we spent our Thanksgiving here! Very spacious, comfortable beds, lots of room and upscale. And being right on the beach can't be beat!
This was a girls trip consisting of 3 moms and 5 teenage girls from Minnesota. Pat’s house was perfect to meet all of our needs. The kids took over the upstairs bedrooms and us moms took the downstairs....it worked out perfectly. We loved the location and being directly on the beach. Unfortunately, there was heavy equipment work being done on the beach where we were.... kind of a bummer, but we dealt with it! The beach, ocean and weather were incredible! It got cool in the evenings, the fireplaces was welcomed. We did some exploring of other beaches and determined Newport Beach was the best choice if you want a more relaxed, quieter atmosphere. Pat was easy to work with and communicated very well. I appreciated the detailed information provided ahead of the trip, it made it easier to plan. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and family and would come back again, only stay longer next time!
LOCATED AT 44TH ST., APPROXIMATELY 3/4 OF A MILE NORTHWEST OF THE NEWPORT BEACH PIER AND ABOUT 2 MILES FROM THE BALBOA PIER. GOOD SURFING AND BODYBOARDING DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE TOWNHOME. THE NEWPORT BAY IS 2 BLOCKS TO THE EAST. A STRIP CENTER IS 3 BLOCKS AWAY WITH A CONVENIENCE STORE AND RESTAURANTS. BIKE AND SURFBOARD RENTALS ARE IN THE AREA.
