Peaceful rurul location

A gorgeous old stone farmhouse which has retained its rustic style yet has been restored to a very high standard, with high-spec equipment e.g. fridge, washing-machine, dishwasher etc. Very spacious, beautifully renovated fairly recently in a cool clean luxurious style, huge garden, very peaceful. Mile and a half to local village which contains all necessary amenities, shop, boulangerie, boucherie, library, health centre, hardware store, Post Office, bank, cafe etc. Lovely rural area, excellent for walking or cycling, old towns to visit and some good restaurants within easy reach by car. Very helpful owners.

Peaceful and relaxing getaway.

Have just returned from spending a week here and just want to turn round and go back. A traditional farmhouse with original features the Walnut Tree has been tastefully decorated and had every modern creature comfort we needed for our perfect getaway and more! It's very quiet, in a tiny hamlet surrounded by farmland but there is a pizzeria nearby that serves delicious food and there are shops and supermarkets a short drive away. There are also some pretty villages within easy driving distance that are worth visiting. Communication with Simon was quick and easy and Sarah was close by if we needed anything. This was just what we needed after being locked down due to covid. Peaceful, relaxing and we were very comfortable in what really is a 'home from home'.
