La Pipa is a small self contained apartment adjoining the owners house sleeping 2 people in a double bed. Outside is a quiet terrace with table and chairs, perfect for that glass of wine in the evenings.
Pete and Gill, the English owners, live in 'Las Nubes' next door and will offer you a warm welcome . La Pipa is situated in Villaverde, a tiny unspoilt agricultural village in the mountains between the Picos and Ponga national parks. You will need a small car to reach La Pipa and to explore the region.

Perfect for couples

Lovely little house in the Asturian mountains. Pete and Gill are wonderful hosts, welcoming and helpful. The house is compact but has everything you need for a short stay. Pete's craftsmanship is evident throughout. Highly recommended for a break in the mountains.

Wonderful stay in Ponga park

We had an extremely pleasant stay at this quaint and lovely little house. Pete and Gill are fantastic hosts, Who designed and furnished their country tastefully and with the care to detail. They provide clear instructions for arrival and gave us a friendly welcome. We really enjoyed the four days and nights in an Authentic rural Asturian environment. We’d love to come back. Small but nice.

The place is very relaxed. La Pipa is not big, but cozy. For taller people the bathroom is a bit a challenge, but oke. The bed is low to the ground, and one side against the wall. So it is not always easy to come of the bed. the location of the house is very very beautiful!!

Mooi gelegen in de bergen

Een heel leuk en bijzonder appartement. Alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig. Uitstekende keukenvoorzieningen. Heel kleine badkamer maar wel prima uitgerust. Goed bed op vide dat met gordijn wordt afgesloten. De weg naar het oude boerengehucht vereist wel wat stuurmanskunst. Wakker worden door kraaiende hanen is wel heel apart. De kippen lopen gezellig rond door de tuin. Bomen en oude schuren en veel groen bepalen het mooie uitzicht van het heerlijke terras. Zwaluwnest met jongen 3 meter boven je met voerende ouders. Plezierige Engelse eigenaren die hun oude boerderij in 12 jaar vanaf ruïne tot chalet type hebben gerestaureerd. Zeer aan te bevelen.

Excellent séjour à la Pipa !

Nous avons passé 4 jours fabuleux à la Pipa, dans le hameau de Villaverde. Quel calme, quelle paisibilité ! Le gîte est absolument parfait, tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. Tout est bien pensé et joliment décoré, on s'y sent chez soi. Pete et Gil sont des hôtes très accueillants avec qui nous avons eu plaisir à échanger. Gil nous a indiqué des balades à faire autour du gîte permettant d'avoir accès à de jolis panoramas. Les informations données avant notre arrivée pour accéder au gîte sont très claires, on trouve sans problème le logement. La ville la plus proche est Cangas de Onís (20min) où il est possible de faire des courses sans souci. Le gîte est également proche des Pics d'Europe (notamment les splendides lacs de Covadonga). Bref, nous avons vraiment passé un séjour fabuleux près des Picos de Europa grâce à ce super logement. Merci encore Pete and Gil!

Sérénité dans une adorable maison et un environnement grandiose!

Nous avons passé huit nuits à la Pipa et notre séjour a été formidable. Le gîte est adorable, refait à neuf avec beaucoup de goût par les propriétaires,( le charme britannique sans aucun doute) qui sont d’excellents conseils pour vous indiquer les balades et les bons endroits à visiter. On se sent loin du monde et c’est reposant ! Même en partant à pied de la maison, on se retrouve vite dans des panoramas de toute beauté. Bien sûr, nous avons eu de la chance avec la météo, mais quoi qu’il arrive, pour déconnecter, c’est parfait ! Les rues du villages sont très étroites et parfois pentues, il faut donc être un conducteur sans appréhension. Sinon la route pour monter au village est en parfait état ! Merci à Gill et Pete pour leur accueil et leur bienveillance et leurs gentilles attentions ! On a vraiment adoré !

Estupendo lugar donde desconectar

Hemos pasado unos días geniales en la casita de Pete y Gil, unos huéspedes muy amables y simpáticos, con un alojamiento muy cómodo y bonito en medio de la natura y con una tranquilidad inmensa. En el apartamento, una casa adosada a su propiedad, hay todo lo que se necesita y no falta de nada. Lo recomiendo al 100%!!

Le paradis sur terre

Quel magnifique endroit! Après quelques kilomètres d'ascension, nous sommes enfin arrivés à La Pipa et accueillis chaleureusement par nos hôtes. La Pipa est extrêmement bien pensé, et extrêmement bien placé pour ceux qui aiment la montagne et la marche (chemin de randonnée Beyu Pen très proche) et aussi pas trop loin de la côte. Nous avons passé 3 nuits de rêve, et espérons pouvoir revenir!

La Pipa

Está muy bien cuidado, lo tienen todo muy limpio y lo mejor es su ubicación aunque cuesta un poco encontrarlo pero sus vistas son impresionantes, se encuentra en plena naturaleza. Además los dueños son súper majos y muy simpáticos. Nuestra estancia allí fue genial, seguro que repetimos.

Sehr ruhige zweigeschossige Unterkunft, neu renoviert und liebevoll von Künstlern gestaltet. Mit schöner Möglichkeit, die Abende draußen ausklingen zu lassen. Auto notwendig, da abgelegen in den Bergen. Alles, was man braucht ist vorhanden.

Alleen de weg naar het huisje toe is moeilijk te vinden. Je hebt echt de instructies nodig van Gil en Peter. Verder zijn er alleen maar complimenten!
