A cottage is set in a stunning remote location looking down on Loch Awe. It has three super-king/twin rooms. Two upstairs and one downstairs which also has a ensuite WC/basin. The main bathroom is downstairs with a large walk in shower, WC and basin.
A large sitting room/dining room is complete with smart freesat TV and docking station. A large log burner sets of the room with fans and is a wonderful provider of heat in the evenings. All logs are provided some may need to be split with axe.
The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and all the equipment you would need.
Garden furniture and mobile barbecue are provided outside. This cottage has a wonderful outside boiler room with washing machine and tumble drier. An excellent room for drying.
This cottage has no wifi which guests love but EE mobiles work well throughout.
Around the cottage is an abundance of wildlife and Red deer can be seen grazing from the conservatory in the evenings.

About the host
Hosted by Willa Wilson
I was born in Lochgilphead and have spent a large part of my childhood in Argyll. I am married to Angus and have three children. We took over the estate from my father in 2003. It is a fantastic way of life which we love to share with our guests and help them to see the best of the area. There is too much to do and see in a week but once you have been you will want to return!
Why they chose this property
I took over the estate from my father ten years ago and count myself so lucky to have the opportunity to care for the cottages and farming business in the most stunning part of the world. A perfect retreat to get away from the busy life that most of us lead. Ederline is a tonic to be consumed regardless of season.
What makes this property unique
Finchairn Cottage is located in a quiet location up a mile long private drive. It is a traditional shepherds cottage and we have tried to maintain its character while up grading the property to create 'Home from Home'
All our guests are truly blown away by the view and location of Finchairn Cottage.
